Nicky has worked within the Leeds Tourism Team since 1999. Prior to that she helped establish Lincolnshire Tourism – one of the first public/private sector tourism partnerships in the UK. She’s proud that on her watch Leeds has risen to be the 5th most popular conference destination in the UK and that Conference Leeds has twice been awarded the M&IT Silver Award for Best UK Convention Bureau.

Local lass Claire is a tourism graduate of Leeds Metropolitan University. This is her second stint of working for Conference Leeds, after working in the tourism team at Hull for several years. Needless to say, the pull of her home city was too much for her and we were delighted to welcome her back. Claire’s our fitness fanatic and is our contribution to Leeds being the jogging capital of the UK.

Karen studied tourism in Sterling before joining the team at Leeds Visitor Centre and then transferring to the Conference Leeds team. Although she’s now lived in Leeds for over 15 years, her heart remains in Scotland and is probably Partick Thistle’s number one supporter.
