Rose Bowl Plays Host to International Sports Conference Monday 16th August 2010

Well Met Conferencing’s award-winning venue the Rose Bowl recently played host to the inaugural interdisciplinary International Sports Medicine, Science and Performance conference. The two day event was a great success and saw attendees from a variety of sectors and organisations including, leading sports medicine doctors, commercial suppliers, Directors of Governing Bodies of Sport, Physiotherapists from professional sports clubs, Olympic and Commonwealth Games practitioners and academia.

The event, which was attended by over 140 professionals, was interactive and interdisciplinary with well received keynote addresses from impressive home and international speakers as well as special practical sessions on innovations in sport and the Commonwealth Games. Delegates enjoyed visiting the commercial exhibition of over a dozen firms representing established and new products and services in sports and excerise medicine.
