Switch over to Well Met Conferencing Monday 1st March 2010

Well Met Conferencing at Leeds Metropolitan University played host to the BBC and its stars for the most recent series of Five Days, a thriller which tracks five 24-hour periods in a police investigation. The filming utilised a number of buildings across the university and demonstrated the variety and adaptability of its estate.

Television star Suranne Jones (Unforgiven, Coronation Street) was on set to lead an impressive ensemble cast in the gripping new five-part mystery from Gwyneth Hughes’s, creator of Five Days, Miss Austen Regrets and Cherished.

Kate Pitcher, Business Development Manager for Well Met Conferencing, said:
“We are always excited by the challenge and exposure that filming brings and enjoy working with such high profile bodies as the BBC. The production also highlights the flexibility of the spaces and facilities offered by Well Met Conferencing.”

Five Days is the latest in a number of hit television series to choose Leeds Metropolitan University as a filming destination. Other TV productions from Channel 4 and ITV include; Red Riding 1980, No Angels, Touch Of Frost and Diamond Geezer.
