Well Met Conferencing score a hatrick with the introduction of three new venues

Well Met Conferencing at Leeds Met University has added three new venues to its already exciting collection. Carnegie Village, Broadcasting Place and Queenswood will enhance Well Mets existing portfolio, enabling them to host a wider range of conferences and events.

Situated on the picturesque Headingley Campus, Queenswood is Well Met’s most recent addition and offers conference organisers an intimate location for corporate meetings. The Centre has been transformed to include four bedrooms at a 4 star equivalent standard; the grand dining room makes a perfect place for holding small evening events and Queenswood’s premium quality living space is ideal when hosting corporate away days or small residentials.

Also situated on the Headingley Campus is the the new state of the art halls of residence – the Carnegie Village – which has already welcomed the likes of the England Rugby Union Junior Squad, teams from the Paralympics, the South African Olympic Delegation and the FA. The pioneering new centre offers high-specification, all year round residential conference facilities including bedrooms, shared living space and impressive views over the Leeds Met sports grounds. Conference delegates can take full advantage of the 23 rooms available all year round which will increase to 273 – 370 out of term time (between 29th June and 15th September). The Village is close to all the dedicated conference facilities on-site with rates starting from just £35 for room only and £40 b&b.

And finally, the £54 million state of the art, Faculty of Arts & Society building – Broadcasting Place, is an iconic new addition to Well Met’s Civic Quarter Campus. Complete with conference facilities for up to 90 delegates including four breakout spaces, the development has starting rates of just £25 (DDR) out of term time.

In addition to the three new exciting venues, Well Met Conferencing offers an array of other facilities including the striking Rose Bowl, a state of the art dedicated space for conferences and events; the refurbished Gandhi Hall, which provides a large flexible space that can house formal dinners and receptions for up to 400: the historic James Graham building set at the Headingley Campus; and the Old School Board, set in the heart of the city overlooking Millennium Square.
