A Personal Achievement for the University of Leeds

The University of Leeds’ conference team is celebrating after integral team member Harriet Boatwright was presented with the Personal Achievement Award at the annual industry award ceremony.

Sales and Marketing Coordinator, Harriet is a former student of the University and has worked for the conferencing team for 6 years. Harriet was nominated for the Venuemaster’s Personal Achievement Award 2009 by Head of Sales and Marketing for the University’s conferencing team, Richard Handscombe.

Richard said: “Harriet embraces tasks and responsibilities in what is a high energy environment. Although her role is demanding of time and effort with sales calls, venue enquiries and site show rounds, Harriet maintains motivation, enthusiasm and morale across a large department.”

The Venuemaster’s awards reward the marketing efforts of academic venues across a number of categories. Southampton Solent University hosted this year’s ceremony, which was attended by over 100 delegates.
