The National Media Museum (NMeM) in Bradford has enhanced its award-winning
facilities for corporate and private events with the launch of Room at the Top.
Available for exclusive hire from the beginning of October 2011, this brand-new
versatile events space can accommodate up to 80 guests for conferences, formal
dining, receptions and weddings.
Aptly named for its eighth-floor location at the top of the Museum and offering
stunning cityscape views, Room at the Top also references the 1959 romantic drama of the same name which was largely filmed in the city of Bradford, named in 2009 as the world’s first official UNESCO City of Film.
Over £130k has been invested in cutting-edge AV equipment and furniture for the
events space and in-house caterers Digby Trout have devised flexible options
ranging from day delegate packages to fine dining, designed to suit all budgets and style requirements.
Room at the Top represents a significant addition to the events facilities at the National Media Museum, which is already widely-renowned for its interactive and innovative spaces available for all nature of events including: product launches, teambuilding experiences, Christmas parties and premieres.
This launch precedes that of Life Online, the world’s first gallery to explore the social, technological, and cultural impact of the internet and the worldwide web, opening at the Museum in March 2012.
Venue hire for Room at the Top starts from £500 + VAT for a half day and
competitive day delegate rates are available from just £35.95 + VAT.
