Leeds, or at least a small enclave of it, is united in celebration after scooping its second year of silverware!

At the heart of the Garforth community, the 144 bedroomed Holiday Inn Leeds-Garforth, 160, who employ full and part time staff, beat off stiff competition to come up trumps for its second year at the recent InterContinental Hotels Group awards ceremony.

Following an abundance of positive guest comments and dedication by its staff the Holiday Inn Leeds-Garforth hotel was selected by InterContinental Hotels Group as one of only 39 hotels in the Europe, Middle East & Africa region to scoop a Quality Excellence Award – no easy task when the scale of the competition is considered, over 600 hotels in fact! General Manager of Holiday Inn Leeds-Garforth stated ‘Winning a prestigious Quality Excellence award such as this means a great deal to the team and I as it’s based on actual guest feedback. We thought we were doing a great job, now we know it!
