The Conference and Events team at Leeds United have again been short-listed for a number of awards at this year’s Leeds Hotels Association Awards ceremony.

The C&E team have been nominated for the ‘Top Team’ award while Helen Briden has been nominated by Bewley’s Hotel for the Leeds, Live It, Love It award.

The Top Team Award will be awarded to a group of people or department who can demonstrate that by working well as a team, they have achieved a joint objective which has benefited the organisation, hospitality industry, or local community.
The latter award will be presented to the individual or team who can demonstrate what they have achieved to ‘put Leeds on the map’.

This could be either by raising the profile of the city nationally or internationally or any initiatives (and the results) that has been undertaken to target national or international guests.

The awards ceremony takes place on May 21.

The news follows the club’s promotion back to the Championship following a three-year exile in League One.
