Tomahawk Hotels is a young, dynamic and award winning Yorkshire based hotel group with 3 stylish, contemporary hotels, Aston Hall in Sheffield, Woodlands in Leeds and Great Victoria in Bradford. There is also an outside catering division that is a regional success.
We are looking to expand our sales teams in both our Sheffield hotel and Leeds hotel and are now recruiting for a sales coordinator and wedding coordinator to join our busy, energetic sales and events offices.
As Sales Coordinator you will be the main point of contact for clients looking to utilise the hotel from the initial show round until the event and your key focus will be to manage and exceed the expectations of the client. The role will require the successful individual to be pro active and responsible for the selling of all Conference and Banqueting facilities in the hotels, ensuring that they are sold to the best advantage and maximising revenue.
As Wedding Coordinator, you will be responsible for organising all the weddings from the initial enquiry up until the special day. Ensuring the Bride and Groom has an amazing, hassle free day to remember. You will be experienced in providing show-rounds to prospective brides and grooms. You will be required to work 5 days out of 7, Weekends and evening work will be required.
The roles will involve handling all incoming enquiries efficiently and effectively over the phone, face to face and by email and converting them into confirmed business, working to company standards, maximising sales; participating in promotions and special events and helping to monitor competitor performance. You will also be required to produce departmental reports.

You will need to possess excellent attention to detail, planning and organizational skills,strong communication and customer service skills and be flexible to changing demands. These are hands on roles and we are looking for individual’s who have fantastic attitudes and drive for achievement, preferably with a sales background within the hotel industry.
We are also recruiting for a part time administrator to help support the Sales Manager and coordinators at Aston Hall, the duties include sending out letters/brochures, helping with Christmas duties, following up calls, conference bills, marketing mail outs and other general admin duties.
