Reporting directly to the Reception Manager, the successful applicant will have overall responsibility for the hotel overnight ensuring the safety and security of our guests and hotel alike and be able to handle all situations including emergencies. You will have previous 4 star hotel experience within a Night Manager/Supervisory role including the supervision of staff. The role is hands-on and as such you will ensure security and safety checks are followed, be responsible for late check-in of guests, provide occasional room service, deal with customer queries and ensure all guest areas are of the expected standard. As the role is key in maintaining Rudding Park’s high standards, the person we require must be extremely customer focused, have excellent interpersonal skills and a professional telephone manner. You will also need experience of night audits and therefore must be computer literate. Sound knowledge of Health and Safety is distinctly advantageous as is a First Aid qualification. Due to the nature of this position, all candidates will be required to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau check and references will be taken.
