Rudding Park Hotel & Gold resort, Yorkshire’s 4 Red Star, Award Winning Premier Hotel & Golf Resort are looking to recruit a Reservations Manager.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Reservations Manager within a resort style hotel. Reporting to the the Revenue Manager, will be responsible for the management and supervision of the Reservations department.

As Reservations Manager you will have very strong revenue exposure and will be involved in maximising business, revenue management and proactively selling the hotel, holiday park, golf and restaurant. In the future the role will also encompass spa diary management. You will also assist with budget preparation and compile forecasts, room sales analysis and client statistics. Having previous knowledge of the GDS and experience of dealing with group reservations led from a strong mix of C&B market segments you will control the inventory and manage rates available on the GDS, web booking engine and relevant internet sites. It is essential that you have experience and knowledge in Yield Management (including significant use of yield management software) with a proven track record in working towards sales targets. You will liaise with the Reception Manager to ensure consistency of service out of the Reservations Office hours. The best candidate for the position will be organised, able to prioritise, be an excellent team player and man manager and most importantly be able to communicate new skills, direction and ideas to your team.
