Front Office Manager Required at The Queens Hotel

The first impression our customers receive is from our Front Office Team and it is vital that this impression is outstanding and a reflection of QHotels standards. We are looking for an exceptional person to lead our Front Office team. You will be working to ensure that our guests receive the highest customer service and to manage and ensure the smooth operations within the Front of House section, incorporating Reception, Concierge and the Night’s team.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
- To ensure that guests receive a warm welcome on arrival
- To ensure that guests are able to check-in and out quickly and efficiently
- To deal with all guest requests and queries in a polite and friendly manner
- To have a knowledge of the hotel facilities, the local area, directions to the hotel, and all local amenities and attractions so that customers can be directed or advised with confidence
- To ensure that all departures have made the correct payment for their stay
- To ensure that all shifts run to a consistently high level of service
- To continually train and develop the team, including carrying out departmental induction's and skills training for new staff
- Ensuring full compliance with all health, safety and hygiene legislation
- To maximise sales and set targets and objectives for your team
- Communicating with the team regarding the day’s business and holding departmental meetings
- Carrying out Personal Development Plans with your team and performance management
- Working with HR to ensure that recruitment is correct for the department
- This role includes duty management shifts

Successful candidates will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a 4* hotel
- A passion for delivering high quality customer service
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Training and development experience,
- Experience of maximising sales and working with budgets
- An energetic approach and work well under pressure
