Events Sales Executive Vacancy at the Queens Hotel

A vacancy as arisen at The Queens Hotel for the position of Events Sales Executive.

The successful candidate will be required to promote, sell, control and manage the resources of the department in order to achieve or exceed the departments’ budgeted revenue and profitability, whilst maintaining quality standards, high level of customer service and keeping budgeted cost guideline.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
• To manage all aspects of an Events from initial enquiry to post event stage.
• To maintain administration and operational standards to the clients satisfaction whilst still achieving hotel revenue and profit targets.
• To respond to all sales leads and clients to secure profitable business for the hotel.
• Maximise revenue and profitability by careful diary management and upselling.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure the smooth running and success of all functions, including the production of detailed function sheets and menus

Successful candidates will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel environment
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to stay calm under pressure
- A target focus
- Excellent computer skills, Delphi MPE desirable
- A high level of attention to detail
