The 4 star, modern Park Plaza Leeds is perfectly located opposite the mainline rail station and is close to the city’s major business and shopping areas.

The Role
• Actively participate in assisting to achieve departmental goals and objectives and drive revenue and profitability through the M&E department
• Respond to enquiries for meetings and events, selling all areas of the hotel to meeting and events clients, conduct hotel show-rounds related to specific enquiries, arrange event orders for all confirmed events and ensure accurate internal communication
• Prepare contracts for events and ensure maximum conversion of enquires and to ensure payment is received for all events as per the hotel guidelines
• Receive feedback from clients and resolve any problem areas in professional manner and within hotel guidelines
• Complete weekly and monthly forecast with the Revenue Manager
• Actively contribute in weekly / monthly departmental meetings and any other meetings that you are required to attend
• Maintain relationships with new and regular M&E clients
• Actively contribute in addressing complaints and resolving problems and ensure that complaints and problems become opportunities
• Ensure that weekly/daily administration is completed in a timely manner
We are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience in Hotel M&E Sales, minimum A Levels Qualifications, computer literate with skills on Photoshop and PowerPoint. The hotel is looking for someone who is customer focused, outgoing, profit driven, hands-on and energetic. Ideally the candidate will have worked in a property of similar size, style and quality.
