Internal Sales Executive with Meet in UK Ltd Monday 29th June 2009

Meet in UK Ltd are expanding and are currently recruiting an Inernal Sales Executive to join the team.

Location: Yeadon Leeds

Hours: Flexible hours 20 per week Monday to Friday (average per week) offering fantastic work life balance.

Wage: £22K on target income.

Ideally you will have experience in the Events industry.

This self employed role will be to make outgoing calls to key decision makers to attend a meet the buyer forum. Working from home or from one of the Directors home you will have defined databases, you will need your own vehicle, computer and mobile phone and will enjoy a generous commission based income on all sales. You would be required to sell attendance to one of our events to deliver sales targets by pro-active outbound telephone calling key customer contacts and decision makers within the events industry.

The Role – Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Email details of unique marketing opportunity. Follow up call to deliver sales targets
• To engage the client at Decision Maker level in Business debate to identify and qualify Solution opportunities to attend one of two events scheduled for October and January with high quality leads.
• Account manage your customer base, keeping up to date with market and business trends including competitor activities, understanding developments for the client and identifying new and emerging business opportunities.
• Constructively work as part of a team, sharing ideas, knowledge and resources to help build a first class sales force.
• Utilise our resources and our brand to achieve results for the business and for the customer.
• To contribute positively to your own personal development through participation in coaching, training, and job shadowing

The Person – Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
The individual needs to be able to work with the minimum of supervision, be part of a team, able to achieve results through virtual team-working.
• An appreciation of confidentiality and security is essential.
• Ability to work at a desk with a VDU for extended periods (subject to DSE regulations).Whilst on the phone.
• Highly Pro-active

• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
• Excellent listening skills
• Telesales experience
• Minimum 6-12 months relevant business/work experience.
• Computer literacy and Key systems skills & knowledge (i.e. MS Office, Outlook)
