The Craiglands Hotel is a 63 bedroom property set in 4 acres of landscaped gardens in the beautiful spa town of Ilkley. The Hotel enjoys facilities for up to 600 guests. We are looking for a Financial Controller to work closely with the hotel senior management team and to; - Maintain timely and accurate accounting records and reports for the hotel with a strong systematic approach to revenue protection. - Ensure the balance sheet is accurate and a fair reflection of the hotels assets and liabilities. - Maintain a system of internal controls to ensure effective and efficient control over the hotels assets, liabilities, revenue, payroll and costs, including food & liquor stock control. - Ensure control over the limited companies accounts to include all bank reconciliation, payments, VAT and full accounts for auditing. - Ensure internal audit procedures are maintained and develop best practice accounting and control procedures. - Ensure a regular cycle of forecasting takes place. - Produce a high quality annual budget. - Manage the hotel payroll for 50+ employees to include PAYE declarations. - Have a good commercial understanding of the business and work with the revenue team to maximise potential.
