Cluster Meetings & Events Sales Manager - Based in City Inn Leeds Covering Manchester & London Friday 9th January 2009

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and professional Meeting and Events Sales Manager to join the Sales Team at CITY INN Contemporary Hotels. The role of Cluster Meetings and Events Sales Manager is a new role with responsibility for 3 of our properties, our new hotel in Leeds opening Summer 2009 along with Manchester and Westminster.

As Cluster Meetings and Events Sales Manager you will be responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities across the 3 properties. Proactively targeting new and suspect accounts and managing existing relationships, you will already be a confident meeting and events sales person with a track record of success at a similar level. Client relationships are key and you will be a natural and excellent communicator. The successful candidate will develop our corporate meetings and events business for the group and effectively manage an agreed account portfolio within the meetings and events segment, actively promoting and selling all hotels.

In this role you will be responsible for selling meeting and events across 3 hotels totaling 40 meeting rooms. Therefore ability to build strong relationships with conference agents in the UK and abroad will be essential. You will have to be an outgoing, energetic individual who is confident in delivering professional presentations both internally and externally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wishing to play an integral role in bringing a brand new hotel to the Leeds market with 18 fantastic meeting rooms, as well as driving the growth of City Inn Manchester and Westminster. With two other hotels also currently in development in Amsterdam and London with significant meeting space, the opportunities could be endless for the right candidate.
