Sales Administrator at Bewleys Hotel Wednesday 25th February 2009

The Sales Administrator will report to the Sales Manager. The main purpose of the role is to maximise revenue and proactively drive the business forward and would include some cold calling, making appointments for the Sales Manager.
A simple knowledge of IT would be advantageous as the individual would need to update the database, agent’s allocations and availability on a daily basis.
The successful candidate should possess bags of enthusiasm and self motivation, time management skills along with determination and resilience. They should also have the ability to put people at ease and have great listening skills.
A full driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous.

Operational Duties:
• Cold calling and telesales – making appointments for the Sales Manager
• Daily inputting of figures onto websites, managing the website bookings and availability.
• Assisting the Sales Manager with the daily management of the third party internet booking sites.
• Keeping an up to date and concise sales database.
• Keeping all relevant sales files up to date and in order.
• Sending out E shots, leafleting and sending out all relevant hotel information to prospective corporate clients.
• Occasional making of direct client bookings
• Checking group bookings
• Responding to all emails professionally and with correct information.
• Representing the hotel and the company on a professional level.
