Sales Co-ordinator Vacancy at Bewleys Hotel Leeds Tuesday 29th July 2008

This contemporary and modern hotel comprising of 334 bedrooms in the centre of Leeds is looking for a self-motivated and hardworking individual to join the Sales Team. Working for this up-and-coming hotel company, you will be given many opportunities along the way for personal development and progression.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cold calling telesales – making appointments for the Sales Manager and maintaining the database.
• Competitor activity – visiting competitors on a regular basis and keeping up to date with competitor activity.
• Daily inputting of figures onto websites, managing website bookings and availability.
• Conduct professional and profitable show rounds of the hotel as and when required.
• Assist the Sales Manager with the daily management of the third party internet websites.
• Visiting local industrial estates and gathering information and new leads.
• Managing existing companies and analysing their business levels.
• Participating in any relevant local and national marketing activities and exhibitions.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Reliable, dependable and committed with a solid work history.
• Previous sales experience is not essential, however the ability to be self motivated and demonstrate initiative is essential
• A good knowledge of Leeds and local businesses.
• A “can do” attitude and a flexible approach to the job is essential.
• A full driving license and use of a car is necessary.
