The Old Golf House Hotel, Bagden Hall and Dalton Grange are fine examples of Yorkshire's grand homes, with wonderful conference, banqueting and hospitality facilities. The Town Hall is a great base for business, accommodating 1,200 in the lavish hall. The Media Centre has four rooms, all excellently equipped, with space for 110 delegates, and the University of Huddersfield provides further options.
RELAXING AND SOCIALISING
For a sporting treat go to the famous Galpharm Stadium, home to Huddersfield Town FC and the Giants Rugby League team, or for total relaxation, indulge at Eastthorpe Hall, voted Best British Spa Day 2007. Nearby is Last of the Summer Wine country and stunning walks along the Pennines and into the Peaks. Shopping almost counts as exercise along the Yorkshire Mill Mile, home to numerous outlet and designer stores.

The North Light Gallery, in an old textile mill, is a contemporary space for events and meetings. The Frontier, one of the area's top nightclubs, doubles as a great venue with corporate meeting space for up to 900!
